Method to My Madness

I can't believe I just blog twice for the month of June, as I think back a lot of things happened. Again, when I say a lot, I mean a lot. lol. :p
Anyway, to wrap up my June, it was bitter sweet. I can't believe it's done already. I promise I'll tell you everything when I'm back on my mood. My story telling mood is currently ruined at the moment. So please bear with me. My June started and ended well and I can fairly say Dear Lord was so nice to me. One of my good friend, Viel left the country for work, the love of my existence celebrated his 25th birthday, we also celebrated our 2nd year anniversary and I just went to a very beautiful place. I hope and pray that words will just flow from my head directly into the screen so I could tell you every bit of everything. But I can't and I'm sorry, my current mood is unbearable. I'm close to self loathing. I feel insecure and conscious and miserable and helpless and a bit of everything. I can't really tell you everything because I might cry right this very minute. I desperately need a warm hug NOW.

While reading my sentiments, try watching this video that Iv'e been playing over and over again for almost three hours now..

Video courtesy of www.youtube.com

I liked Chris brown when he was just starting out. After the Rihanna news I started to despise him, but I can't ignore the fact that he's really a one hell of a singer. I love his voice and Justin Beiber is well, Justin Beiber. Okay, just ignore the artists and listen to the song, will you? :p (I can't believe I'm still kidding!)

See, I told you there's a lot of this going on my head right now, I can't even come up with a coherent post! Kill Me. :p

Okay, back to my sentiments. I wanted to make things right, but I just can't choose other things. I know something's definitely wrong with me. I'm making simple things complicated.
You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. I can't tell you for I know you won't understand. I can't go direct to the point and I'll stop beating around the bush. I'll stop now, keep my mouth and mind shut. For I know things will fall into the right place. I'll just feel miserable at the moment.

I swear I'll tell you everything when I'm back on track. I promise.

Till then,

Love lots,

KarenHeartilly

California Girls

Again. Forgive me for my reluctant-ness. It's just my second post for the month of June and I still got a lot of things to talk about. Sometimes, I got this too much ideas on my head but I'm to lazy to upload and type. I know it's not good for me and I'm trying my best to work things out. Anyway, I had a blast bonding time with my Prints. Zaren was here at Cabanatuan that time (If this is the first time that I mentioned her, she's my friend since high school, she's also a part of my Prints, she's now studying instrumental engineering and living at Manila. That's the reason why we seldom see each other.) so we grabbed the chance to see each other. It was raining so hard that time because a storm was about to hit the country but my friends we're unstoppable. They planned a swimming get together. Yes, a swimming on a rainy day, it sound a bit insane I know. But my friends, as crazy as they can be can be very unpredictable sometimes. They went to GreenLanes Resort very early, I just followed them after lunch. GreenLanes Resort is a private resort located at Kalikid, Cabanatuan City. it's a 20-30 minutes ride from the city, it has three swimming pools, a typical resort ambiance and I can fairly say that it's a peaceful place, away from the city's busy life and traffic. too much for the place description, back to the story. :)
When I arrived, they we're already soaking wet, not because of too much swimming but because of playing under the rain and of course, I joined them immediately. We spent the whole afternoon laughing at ourselves, chatting, playing like kids and dancing. Yes, you read it right. We danced and we even choreographed a dance step. Crazy indeed! We spent three hours practicing and recording the video. I can't help but laugh when I remember all the things we did. That was also the time when Viel announced her flight. We were sad at first, because we'll surely miss her but that didn't stop us from having one hell of a good time because we know that things like that will take along time to happen again.

Before getting soaked by the rain.
L-R: Me, Tere, Zaren and Viel
Four or more go! Right? Miss you girls, I really had a great time!

We had (From top to bottom) Menudo, Corned Tuna and  Dinuguan for lunch. :)

This was I think taken during our so called rehearsals. lol :p

Another Photo Op during the rehearsal. The rain temporarily stopped but the fun didn't stop. :p

As I told you, the resort has the typical resort ambiance, but as I look at this photo I can't help but admire the greenery. Lol! :p

One of the three pools in the resort, they don't offer slides here, but it's fine though, I'm really not a big fan of slides. Swimming while raining is really fun too. It has this cold from the rain and hot from the pool feeling. Oh dear, I hope you get what I'm saying! :p

As I'm saying over and over. These girls are a part of my life. They define who I am and although that distance will test our friendship, I know deep within my heart that our friendship can endure any distance or test or time.

And for the most awaited part! TTTAAADDDDAAAAHHHH!!!!
Watch at your own risk! :p

Did you rolled on the floor laughing? Don't worry, there were no people around the resort. We almost owned the place. And I think that even though some people will be present we'll still do stuff like this. We're used to it. The attention I mean. LOL.
As I said, we spent the whole afternoon doing this, I don't mind the shame on putting this on my blog, I'm really proud that I did this. Really. Lol. :p
I know that I can't do stuff like this with other people, because you can only do crazy things with your good old friends that knows almost everything about you.
I'm not also a huge fan of Katy Perry, but because of this, I love her to bits! :)
I hope I made your day! Till then!

More to come!

Love Lots,

I Will Miss You

I mentioned that I've been through a lot of Despedidas lately right? And guess what! I just went through another one! Of course I will tell you all about it, hang in there. :p
Her name is Ma. Ravielly Viatica Salonga. She's a part of my Prints, we've been friends since we we're 15 years old and our friendship was tested with time, laughter, tears and this time distance. She's also a Registered Nurse and now is the time that she needed to fulfill her profession. She needs to work abroad. Yes, abroad. Just like the thousand nurses out there. Last Tuesday, Tere (My soul sister-sweetie-ultimate-surprise-planner) planned a surprise for Viel (her nickname) just like what we did with Tine (Remember her? She went abroad last May, I know I haven't blog about it but I will. I swear. Wait for it okay? lol.) Tere even texted Vish (The ever supportive sister of Viel) so we could plan the surprise very well. Good thing Vish was a great accomplice. Lol.
Tere and I met up at around one in the afternoon since we both had our errands to do.
We went to the mall to buy the stuffs that we need. We bought a cake, balloons and party popper (which is by the way so Bongga!). Next thing to so is to act very well so Viel won't notice anything. I went first to Viel's house, (Tere was at a corner sneaking and hiding) I asked Viel if she could accompany me to the mall since I had to return a shoe that won't fit me well (I even brought a shoe to complete my alibi). She laughed at first but decided to come with me since she had to go to the mall as well. When we left that was the time when Tere sneaked inside the house and together with Vish and Tita Malou (Viel's Mom) they arranged the surprise. While Viel's with me she doesn't know that I was texting Tere the whole time and I encountered a dilemma that I thought will spill our surprise, the plan was Vish will call Viel to get back to the house because she needed to say something, but Viel doesn't wanna go back anymore. That's when I came up with a convincing excuse! ha,ha
I told Viel that Tere is in her house, waiting for us because she also wanted to go to the mall but Viel didn't put up an easy fight, she insisted that Tere should just follow us to the mall, but I didn't gave up. And thank God for my persuading powers Viel gave in and we went back into her house. And a heat warming surprise happened. We we're shouting and hugging. I was really happy because I saw that Viel was really surprised. She even said that she was shocked and she didn't thought that we would do something like that for her. Being the Best Actresses that we are she didn't had even the slightest idea. :)

This is Viel and she was genuinely surprised. I can never find another friend like her. Everyone loves her. She got tons of friends because she never fails to make anyone laugh. She's a true friend and she will stick with you till the end. I know things won't be the same without her. I will surely miss her. I will miss laughing my heart out with her. She's usually the teller behind the crazy stories, the cracker of the silliest jokes. I will never forget how many times she made me happy and I consider myself lucky having her as a friend.

My friends by heart. It makes me really sad to see Viel leaves, but it makes me proud of her too. She's very close to her family and leaving them behind is I think one of the hardest decision she had ever made. when we blew out the surprise, we we're like I said hugging, screaming and jumping, we we're like six year olds. It made us teary eyed also. :')

With my soul sister Tere, we've like planned almost three despedidas together. We are the best Despedida planners that I could think of! LOL.
I just don't wanna think of the moment that one of us will have to leave. That will surely break my heart.

As Viel would phrase this: Sol, George and Anne! Lol.
I will definitely miss photos like this. :(

The on the spot trying hard banner that I printed few hours before the meet up.
We will definitely miss our Mareng Viel. :(

The overly confident cake. I'm sure Viel will miss us too, right? :p

The cramming few minutes arrangements that Tere did. Taken at the Salonga's living room. :)

When we we're in high school, she wanted to be a part of the Japanese Anime SailorMoon. That's how crazy she is. my life became happier  because of Viel's existence. And I want her to know that I love her and I will truly miss her, that I won't forget her no matter what. That she is a very special person, inside and out. :)

Viel's quest abroad gave a bittersweet feeling to me. Again, I know that my time will come and I will have no choice but to leave, and it really makes me sad. And thinking about the people and things that I will leave behind will make me sadder, but I don't know, I really cant' tell. At some point I wanted to leave so I could explore other things and places that my friends do now, but when realization hits me, I just still don't have the guts to leave home. I'm such a weenie. And a cry baby. Sometimes, I wanna spank myself for being such a wimp, but I can't help it. So, I'm asking for your understanding. :)

On the lighter note, Viel's flight will be tonight. Yes, indeed. And I'm hoping for the best. May God's grace be with her. Till next time hearties, I just hope my next post won't be about another Despedida! Lol. :p

P.S.
For Viel, If you're reading this, I will miss you.
Say my Hi and Thanks to your sissy Vish!
Keep in touch! And don;t forget the 3K on October! We're counting on that! ha,ha

More to come hearties!
Lotsa Love!

Bye For Now

I noticed that I've been through a lot of Despedida (A Spanish word the means Farewell or Goodbye) lately, and I just figured out that most of my friends are neither outside the country or about to leave the country. It makes me envious though, thinking that most of them will be having a better future. Being overseas opens a lot of doors and tons of opportunities (Noticed how many "S" I used? lol.) but thinking about the things and people that I'll be leaving behind, makes my heart melt. I'll going to miss everything about my home. I know I'm such a coward for not having the guts to step out of my comfort zone, but hey, who needs to rush? I'm young and I've got a lot of things to learn It's very clear to me that that day will come that I have to leave everything behind. I'm just prolonging the inevitable. For now, I'm enjoying the company of my friends, the comfort of my home, the warmth of my family and the simple joys of being on my haven. Don't worry, when that "time" comes, I'll let you know every detail of it. I promise. :)

Last Sunday, Jr and I together with his friends The Buddies grabbed a dinner to say goodbye to Mick, he's bound to London this Friday. We had a sumptuous supper at Lamarang Steaks and Seafood Restaurant here at Cabanatuan. It offers home cooked meals and of course seafoods and steaks on affordable prices. The place has Bahay Kubos (Nipa Hut) that gives this fresh and homey feeling (I regret not having a snap shot, don't worry, I won't forget it next time). We had Gising Gising, Beef Kare-Kare, Shrimp Tempura and Buttered Chicken. (Forgive me for I won't be able to make your mouth water, I neglect to take some photos on the food. My bad.)

Right after the storm! ha,ha
As I said, there were no food left, and it almost felt like a hurricane just passed by. lol.
Everybody was full and hyped.
L-R: Meek, My Kuya Allan, My Jr, Me, Cris, Annie, Mick, Eric and Eric's friend (Oh please forgive me, no matter how much I recall, I can't remember his name. Please, please forgive me.)
P.S. you'll notice the yellow thingy in the middle, it's a buzzer. Yes, a buzzer. It's used to call the attention of the waiter. Convenient eh? Wish they could put bells instead. Lol :p

After the overwhelming dinner, what's next? Of course! Dessert!!!
We went to Yogurtree, a frozen yogurt/ice cream parlor here again in Cabanatuan. It offers, of course, frozen yogurt, ice creams, espresso based drinks, sandwiches and pasta. The place has this cozy, relaxing and comfortable feeling. Everyone of us had Frozen Yogurts with the toppings of our choice except Jr, he hates yogurt by the way. He had ice cream instead. Everyone had their own conversation going, occasionally laughing at each other. I didn't felt the sadness on the air, I just felt real friendship and in spite of the teasing I felt their concern and happiness for Mick.

With Mick and Criselda. Although I haven't got the chance to spend more time with Mick I know how a wonderful person he is. And he will surely be missed.

Please forgive this. I can't resist putting this. I super adore that cute little drawer. Jr and I even attempted to steal it, unfortunately the store is equipped with CCTV. Lol.

I look cute here. Right? Lol. :p

With Criselda. She had blueberry syrup, cheesecake and Kitkat while I had Koko Crunch, Choco Chips and Kitkat! Yum-O! :)

My Jr had Cheese Kasoy Macapuno Ice Cream. It's heaven by the way. He dreads yogurt actually, I mentioned that already right? :)

We're hyped and full of energy, maybe because of the sweets? But all in all. I had a great time. I'm looking forward for next time. :)

After the sweets, we decided to call it a day since Jr needs to go back to Manila that'll take three or fours of travel. Before we go, I hugged Mick and I told him to take care. We also had a group hug! It made me feel good actually, it's nice to know that there are people that you can count on to hug you when you need one and that's priceless. To Mick, I hope you'll take care, it was so nice meeting you and let's bond when you get back. :)

♥

P.S. Thanks to Meek (Micheal Mercado) for the photos, you're really like a pro! :)

More to come Hearties!

J♥K

When we're not fighting, we're fooling around. We only see each other every weekend (because Jr works in Manila I'll tell you the whole thing next time) and we make it appoint to spend every minute of that two days together. I often tease him that I'm his weekend girl friend (Don't worry I'll try to write something about that too) but he usually doesn't pay attention. :)
Jr and I are kids by heart. We play games and tease each other, and I always end up pissed off. As I told you, Jr's talent is pissing me off. We love doing things together. I can't tell you all our crazy antics together since it's too many, but one thing's for sure, we always have the tendency to get crazy. :)

Now lemme show you some of the photos that we got over the year/s (LOL), and I promise to describe each of it as best as I can. Here we go.. :)

Believe it not, we love to look like idiots sometimes. :p

During our trip to Baguio last February, it was also the celebration of Panagbenga or the Flower Festival, we spent three days there. We saw the flower floats and the street dancing competition. It was our first and wish we could go there again next year. :)

The piggy back ride. Whenever I get tired from too much walking or whether I don't feel like walking anymore, Jr never hesitates to carry me. When I say wherever, I mean wherever. Even when people starts to stare. :)

At Barj Coffee shop with Jr's friends last December 2009. He was based at Singapore that time, he just went home for three days just to see and spend Christmas with his family and me.

During one of the long drives. Jr doesn't adore driving, when traveling he rather sleep than drive, my friends can attest to that. :)
But he can't fall asleep when I'm the one behind the wheel. :p

Our Power Ranger watch. I told him that we can communicate  with each other using this watch and we we're like pretending the whole day that we could hear each other while whispering to the watch. I can't help but laugh when I remember how we fooled ourselves. :p

Jr adores sunnies! He got this little collection of weird and interesting pieces. I wish I could show them to you. :)

He spoiled me. Whenever he's around he makes it appoint to pick me up from work or wherever. ♥

Our Rosalinda and Jose Fernando imitation. My friends did this to us, but we liked it anyway. :)

At Stone8 Resort with my friends. :)
The good thing about us is that we became friends with each other friends. Got it? lol.

Jr got this from Singapore. When he gave it to me, I was like, really shocked.  Because you see, that time, he's not that good on showing how he really felt. But he changed and a lot of people noticed that. Some people said that I did that to him, but I really don't know what I did, I just loved him and I made him feel it. :)

During a night out with my friends. I'm really not a party girl type. I don't adore dicso clubs and the like.  I rather stay on a coffee shop and drench myself on caffeine. I don't like live bands and the smoke and the noise. I'd rather sit on a cozy couch and chit chat with friends, but sometimes, I had no choice but to blend in the crowd. And besides, I needed to experience different things, so I'm trying it with my good old friends. I once tried dancing, and it made me feel good, but I rather not do it regularly. Once in a while is enough for me. ;)

Our trip to Tarlac. I told Jr I wanted a barbecue on a sizzling plate and we almost searched all over Tarlac. (See, I told you I'm spoiled). Good thing we saw Reyes' Barbecue. :)

Our trip to Aurora, as I said on my previous blog that we travel as much as we can. Aurora is like a two hour drive from our place. Maybe that's the reason we've been there twice.

If I remembered it right, my sister took this photo during our lunch at Mang Inasal here at Cabanatuan.  I can fairly say that Jr has a good relationship with my siblings. And my Mom and Dad loves him. :)

Matched! Probably Jr's getting tired of it. I always wanted for our things to be matched. As a couple, for me, it's mandatory. He can't do anything. I'm his Boss. :p

Our trip to the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Clark, Pampanga. He taught me how to fly a kite. Jr and I had a different  childhood. He had a lot of friends growing up, you'll frequently see him on the street when he was young, He knows all the street games that you could think of. Whilst I, on the other hand, stays at home, not allowed to go out. Doesn't have childhood friends aside from my cousins, doesn't even know how to play Paway and spends the whole day at my room watching Aladdin and playing Barbie dolls with my sister. But I never regret it. And it wasn't late to learn these stuffs, good thing Jr's there teaching me. :p

Fooling around again. One of the things that Jr does the best. Lol. :p

Whilst on the queue at Enchanted Kingdom last January with my sister and friends. Thinking about the closeness that Jr developed with my loved ones really makes me happy.

Even though we've been together for almost two years now, we still discover new things about each  other. And we're loving each other in spite of the flaws. ♥

One of the sweetest thing.. An episode of our arm wrestling (one of our many so-called games) Jr and I always fool around. We're like kids, sometimes it feels that we'll never grow up. We fight over the silliest stuff. We argue a lot but we always kiss and make up. Our relationship isn't just a walk in the park.we learned to compromise. Good thing he's always willing to loose every game just for me to be happy. ♥

I don't know what the future holds and it seems like everybody's going on their own paths. I can't tell what will happen, but I'm enjoying every moment with Jr. I know that nothing's temporary and eventually everything will fade nor disappear. And believe me, God knows how much I fear for that time. Some says that love is a game and you shouldn't lay all your cards of the table because it'll make you vulnerable. I say, loving someone more that you though you could is the best feeling in the world. And knowing that that someone loves you too is better.

Maybe I'm love struck-ed or hopeless romantic, you're probably getting sick of it.
Forgive me for I can't help it. I wanted to make him feel how much I love him and this is my simple way of showing it. I wanted to tell the whole cyber-virtual world that I do.
And maybe Nicholas Sparks did this to me too. So blame him also. :p

That's for now, you'll probably seeing a lot of this later. I know sometimes it's vomit-inducing. Please bear with me. I'm in love. ♥

More to come Hearties!

I've been very vocal about my dreams of becoming a fashion designer someday. And I wanted to start on myself. lol. I just opened an account on LookBook. I still don't know the perks of the site but I was really fascinated and envious. And a lot of people inspired me too and I see no harm on trying, so I signed up and let's just see where it'll lead me. So, please, hype me and I'll adore you forever! :)

Being Under Satan's Yoke

I realized everyone I know is busy or at least keeping their selves busy. When I was texting my friend Mae from Taiwan (because it's her birthday, Happy Birthday again Mae! I miss you!) we came across this idiom, and from that I became to wonder if truly these things can occur. I go to church every Sunday with my boy friend or at least we tried to. We make it appoint to hear the holy mass at least once a week, as a Christian I think it is our responsibility to do so, okay, hang on. I'm not trying to preach around here. I'm just reminding you. And if you don't get what I'm saying, it's fine with me. Okay? Relax. and I think that's what everybody needs nowadays, a time to relax, unwind and put things on perspectives. I'm not as busy as a bee, I still find time to do my nails or read a book but I know that time will come, and I just have to be prepared for that, I guess, but for now, I'm enjoying all my free time and savoring it.

And if your having a good time reading, read this story that I got from the web.

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church. We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth.
We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Saviour. Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken. So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered. "Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow. Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles. Keep them from spending time with their children. As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work! Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice. Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive. To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ. Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers. Pound their minds with the news
24 hours a day. Invade their driving moments with billboards. Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogues, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become
dissatisfied with their wives. Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night. Give them headaches too! If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere. That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas. Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk
about his resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive. Have them return from their recreation exhausted. Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect
on God's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences. Crowd their lives
with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus. Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health
and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work! It will work!"

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there... Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
You decide...

Love Lots,

KarenHeartilly
